‘Carré Rouge’ photinia combines intensely red new growth with glossy green evergreen leaves.

Its compact habit and closely branching stems create a full, dense shrub with an attractive, tidy shape.

Use as a colourful low screen, clipped hedge or border accent.

Give the plant enough space and light to show its natural form.

Plant in fertile, well-drained soil. Water deeply through the first growing seasons and during prolonged dry spells later on. Top-dress with mature compost once a year in spring, keeping it clear of the stems. Trim lightly after the main spring growth to maintain the desired outline and encourage fresh shoots.
