Grosso Lavandin – Lavandula × intermedia ‘Grosso’

Grosso lavandin produces fragrant silver-green foliage and long violet flower spikes loved by pollinators.

The foliage builds a rounded, woody-based mound, with flowering stems rising above it in season.

Use in sunny borders, beside a path or in a low aromatic row.

Give the plant enough space and light to show its natural form.

Give it a sunny position with sharp drainage; avoid persistently wet winter soil. Water until established; afterwards, water only in extended dry spells. An annual light spring compost dressing is enough; avoid heavy fertilising. Trim spent flower stems and a little green growth after flowering, without cutting into old leafless wood.
