About this plant

Hakuro-Nishiki willow brings fresh pink, cream and green variegated leaves on fine, arching shoots.

As the plant matures it forms a rounded crown enlarged by fresh annual shoots, creating a strong shape through the growing season.

How to care

Plant in moisture-retentive soil, away from foundations and buried pipes where its mature size warrants it. Keep the soil evenly moist during establishment and water again whenever the upper soil dries. Top-dress with mature compost once a year in spring, keeping it clear of the stems. Cut back selected young shoots in early spring to encourage bright fresh foliage.
