Veitchii Boston Ivy – Parthenocissus tricuspidata ‘Veitchii’

Veitchii Boston ivy has glossy, three-lobed leaves that turn rich red before falling in autumn.

The flexible stems form a wide wall-covering network of clinging stems, covering an increasing area once established.

Use to clothe a sturdy wall or facade where its vigorous climbing habit can be managed.

Give the plant enough space and light to show its natural form.

Plant in ordinary well-drained soil near a sound, suitable wall and water until established. Water deeply through the first growing seasons and during prolonged dry spells later on. Top-dress with mature compost once a year in spring, keeping it clear of the stems. Cut back stems yearly to keep them clear of gutters, roofs, windows and neighbouring plants.
