'Branca' crape myrtle produces white summer flowers above small green leaves. It is suited to a warm, sheltered position.

Its upright stems develop into a full, bushy shrub as it matures.</p>

Place in a protected border or patio container where summer heat encourages flowering.

Give the plant enough space and light to show its natural form.

Choose a sunny, sheltered spot with well-drained soil and plenty of summer warmth. Water deeply through the first growing seasons and during prolonged dry spells later on. Apply mature compost or a balanced slow-release fertiliser once in spring; protect the roots of young plants in winter. After the main frost risk has passed, shorten weak or damaged shoots to encourage flowering on new growth.
