How to care

Plant in moisture-retentive soil, away from foundations and buried pipes where its mature size warrants it. Keep the soil evenly moist during establishment and water again whenever the upper soil dries. Top-dress with mature compost once a year in spring, keeping it clear of the stems. Thin older stems as needed to maintain a tidy shape.
